Fax AppSend & receive faxes from your phone

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

A fax has to leave your phone to reach a fax machine, so this app cannot honestly claim it keeps everything local. This page says precisely what is sent, to whom, and how long it survives.

Short version

There is no advertising identifier, no analytics SDK and no crash reporter in this app.

Who else sees a fax

Faxing is a telephone service, and we do not own telephone lines. Transmissions are carried by Telnyx, a licensed communications provider, which dials the recipient and reports the outcome. The document is fetched by Telnyx over a signed, short-lived link and is not stored by them on our behalf. Their handling is governed by the Telnyx privacy policy.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Entitlement state is managed through Adapty, which receives a purchase identifier and your subscription status — never the contents of a fax.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or profiling.

Retention and deletion

Sent faxes, their pages and their delivery records are deleted 30 days after transmission. You can delete your data at any time from Profile → Delete my data, which removes every fax, page image and record tied to your device. Releasing a received number deletes the faxes stored under it.

Legal basis and your rights

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for abuse prevention, on our legitimate interest in keeping the service from being used for spam (Article 6(1)(f)). You may request access, correction, export or erasure by writing to the support address below. Because the app has no accounts, we identify your data by the device identifier the app sends — deleting the app without deleting your data first leaves us no way to tie a request to it.

Children

The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date above changes with it and the new version appears here before it takes effect.
