By using Fax App you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.
Fax App transmits documents to fax numbers over the public telephone network, and can receive faxes on a number you rent through the app. It is provided by Alexarix Limited.
Sending faxes and holding a receiving number require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store, available weekly, monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us.
A rented number is yours only while the subscription is active. If the subscription lapses, the number is released back to the carrier's pool and may be taken by someone else. Faxes stored under it are deleted with it.
You must not use Fax App to send unsolicited advertising, bulk or automated transmissions, or anything unlawful, harassing or fraudulent. Unsolicited fax advertising is illegal in many jurisdictions — in the United States it is restricted by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the liability is yours. We rate-limit transmissions, block known abusive destinations, and may suspend a device that violates this section without a refund.
You are responsible for having the right to send the documents you transmit and for entering the correct number. A fax cannot be recalled once it has been dialled.
Fax delivery depends on the recipient's line and equipment, neither of which we control. Busy signals, broken machines, out-of-paper trays and disconnected numbers all cause failures. We retry automatically and report the outcome honestly, but we cannot guarantee that a given fax will arrive, nor when. Do not use this app as the sole channel for anything time-critical or legally binding without confirming receipt by other means.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop at any time by cancelling the subscription and deleting your data in the app. We may suspend the service for violations of the acceptable-use section above.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, where Alexarix Limited is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
